Why Black Knight

The name Black Knight comes from this famous joke in roman slang. A man tells this story:
The Black Knight and the White Knight make a duel and the Black Knight kills the White Knight. Now the White Knight had 3 sons, they challenge the Black Knight to a duel and the Black Knight kills all of them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 9 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills of all them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 27 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills all of them.
Please stop the story, what do you mean, what is the moral?
The moral is: "Don't piss off the Black Knight"!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas

Running update - Last week, after the Canino race, I started the training for the “3 Municipalities Race” on the distance of 22.4 km (13.9 m) which will take place on January 28th. It is called the 3 Municipalities because the route includes 3 towns: Nepi, Civitacastellana and Castel S.Elia. The route is challenging for the reason that each town is located on a hill. The swag includes a very appreciated artistic local ceramic plate (see photo from the 2006 race):

Swag and award

As usual I continue to run every other day. These are my last workouts:

Dec. 05: km. 9.7 (6 m);

Dec. 07: km. 17.4 (10.8 m);

Dec. 09: km. 10 (6.2 m);

Dec. 11: km. 10.9 (6.8 m);

Dec. 13: km. 12.3 (7.6 m);

Dec. 15: km. 18 (11.2 m);

Dec. 17: km. 11,3 (7m).

And now some photos of my city:

      Unfortunately in this port there is not a cruise line to SA.
      However if you and your husband come to Rome .... ring the bell!

  7. Those are such pretty pictures of your city! I wonder does your Grandson want to be a sailor like you were? That's great training you are doing for your race on January 28th.

    I have a question for you, can you tell me what this means in english, "A Pere Na"? My sister was in Naples in September and bought the pieces for a nativity scene from an older gentleman in a small family run store where he made the pieces. Each piece has A Pere Na stamped on the bottom. We have not been able to find a translation for that and I thought maybe you might know what it means!

    Merry Christmas!

    1. I would like but all my grandsons don't think to become sailors like me and my grandfather.
      About "A Pere Na" I didn't find anything about it but I think that A Pere are the first name (A) and the family name (Pere) of the artisan and Na = Napoli.

    1. Many runners enter the races in those towns for the swag. In 1992 I was 20th over all and I won a whole set of porcelain.
