Why Black Knight

The name Black Knight comes from this famous joke in roman slang. A man tells this story:
The Black Knight and the White Knight make a duel and the Black Knight kills the White Knight. Now the White Knight had 3 sons, they challenge the Black Knight to a duel and the Black Knight kills all of them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 9 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills of all them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 27 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills all of them.
Please stop the story, what do you mean, what is the moral?
The moral is: "Don't piss off the Black Knight"!!!!!!!!!

July 2021

July 2021Stats: 125,1 km (77,7 m) in 13 workouts.

July was not a good month for my running. The heat affected my runs and I felt very weak, for this reason I didn’t mind about distance and pace. I also had to stop myself  5 days to recover.

The longest distance was 11,2 km and the shortest  6,2 km.

This week I have run 4 times with start at 06.30 a.m.:

Monday: 6,2 km. (flat) I felt very tired and I came back home very soon;

Wednesday: 9,7 km (ondulate) a good workout despite the heat wave;

Friday: 8,6 km (ondulate) another bad day for my running;

Sunday: 10,5 km (ondulate) with an heartbreak hill 3 km long.  After 5 km I met another runner and the workout together became easier.

This is the final part of my last workout:

And at home water and fresh fruit that my wife bought yesterday at the local market:

Seagulls - Here you can see the behaviour of the seagulls near my house when my cat doesn’t patrol HIS territory:

  1. My car always gets splattered by the birds too! I sometimes think they aim at it on purpose, lol

  2. That's funny your cat patrols the area and keeps the seagulls away! Looks like you still had a decent month, despite the heat. I hope things cool down for you...

  3. It's funny how running becomes easier when we're not alone! I'm glad you had a fellow runner for Sunday's run, at least for the last 5k.
    We still have very cool and rainy weather in Switzerland. It was 13°C this is morning.

    1. Indeed many friends of mine run all together every other day at 06.30 p.m. but I prefer to run solo in early morning. Usually in the afternoon we are on the beach with our grandson.
      In this moment I would like to have cool and rainy weather.

    1. I have 3 cats in the garden. However all of them are very cautious because the seagulls are aggressive ..... but not with me because I feed them.

  5. Running is very difficult when it's so hot. Looks like your cat is taking a vacation from his patrol! :D

  6. Hello,
    The gull does not seem worried about the cat, cute photos. I love the views of the water, pretty reflections and the market place looks great. Take care, have a happy weekend!
