Why Black Knight

The name Black Knight comes from this famous joke in roman slang. A man tells this story:
The Black Knight and the White Knight make a duel and the Black Knight kills the White Knight. Now the White Knight had 3 sons, they challenge the Black Knight to a duel and the Black Knight kills all of them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 9 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills of all them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 27 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills all of them.
Please stop the story, what do you mean, what is the moral?
The moral is: "Don't piss off the Black Knight"!!!!!!!!!

Running update and Festivals again (S.Lorenzo Nuovo and Onano)

Running update - This week I started to increase my speed to prepare the upcoming races.

Monday 10.7 km slow;

Wednesday 10.6 km slow;

Friday 10 km tempo run;

Sunday 9,7 km tempo run.

At the moment I don't have any race on my calendar because I'm waiting for cooler temperatures. I will start on sept. 24 with a 10 km in Tarquinia and then other 6/7 races between October and November.

Festivals - My wife and I spent a few days at the lake house and went to the Gnocchi Festival in San Lorenzo Nuovo and the Lentil Festival in Onano.

S. Lorenzo Nuovo - Gnocchi Festival

Potato gnocchi is a very good typical dish.

The town is very beautiful with a famous octagonal square and a belvedere on the lake called "terrace on the lake".

Onano Lentil Festival - Onano lentils are legumes smaller than normal but famous for their taste.

The town, built on a tufa cliff, is very old and characteristic.

Canadian Geese - While we were by the lake we got to see a group of canadian geese in flight.

Have you ever eaten lentils and gnocchi?

  6. I'm a big fan of gnocchi. I've never had it with lentils, but I've prepared all kinds of ways. I love frying it in the pan--sounds weird but the crispy gnocchi is so fun to eat.

  11. Gnocchi is one of life’s wonderful little delights. It reminds me that I haven’t had it for a few months so I’ll pick some up today. Great plan to wait for the cool weather before starting to race again. Running should be fun, not deadly!
