Why Black Knight

The name Black Knight comes from this famous joke in roman slang. A man tells this story:
The Black Knight and the White Knight make a duel and the Black Knight kills the White Knight. Now the White Knight had 3 sons, they challenge the Black Knight to a duel and the Black Knight kills all of them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 9 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills of all them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 27 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills all of them.
Please stop the story, what do you mean, what is the moral?
The moral is: "Don't piss off the Black Knight"!!!!!!!!!

Cat and lizards

Cat and lizards: last week I had to rescue a baby lizard. It was not easy to get it out of my cat's mouth. He spends all his time sleeping under sunflowers, asking for food and chasing lizards.

Running update: in june I only ran 112,5 km (69,9 ml) in 11 workouts and no races. The mileage was low because I had a stop of 10 days for a prostate inflammation.

Weekly recap:

Mon 10.7 km;

Wed 10.8 km;

Fri 10.7 km;

Sun 10.0 km.

Do you have a pet at home?

  1. I hope the lizard survives. A cat’s mouth is a toxic brew of bacteria that may doom creatures safely extracted. In answer to your question, I have no pets at home - unless you count my pal the spider who often visits me when I am in my office!

    1. I hope too.
      Some years ago I have a similar pet at home, Ugo was his name. He spent all his life in our kitchen.

  2. No lizards here, but I'm sure if we had them, my dog would find them. We have a lot of bunnies and squirrels, which she loves to chase but not to catch. She probably wouldn't know what to do with them if she caught one!

    1. Bunnies and squirrels are lovely animals. A couple of years ago a family of hedgehogs decided to live in my garden.

  3. I can imagine that cats see lizards as the ideal toy! Glad you could rescue the little thing!
    We don't have pets - too complicated with our kind of lifestyle. But I do enjoy meeting other people's pets!

  9. Nice looking lizard, you did well getting it out of your nice looking cats mouth.
    We did have 2 dogs but they died several years ago, and the loss of them was a very sad time for us.

    1. Sorry for your loss. Pets become part of the family and it's very sad when they die.

  12. Oh, the poor lizard! None of them in my area. We have a dog, Max. He's not too interested in chasing other animals, but he gets a big attitude when he sees dogs that are bigger than he is, LOL.

    June was not my best month for running or anything really. Here’s to hoping we both have a better month ahead!

  15. Glad you're back to running, but not over doing. Creepy crawly things like lizards give me the willies. I think your cat is doing a good job...perhaps you could loan him out to get rid of some of the chipmunks and rabbits in my yard that keep eating my flowers.

    1. Thank you, my wife says the same: "not over doing" but it's hard for a runner to slow down.
      I will ask to my cat if he wants to work in your yard.
