Why Black Knight

The name Black Knight comes from this famous joke in roman slang. A man tells this story:
The Black Knight and the White Knight make a duel and the Black Knight kills the White Knight. Now the White Knight had 3 sons, they challenge the Black Knight to a duel and the Black Knight kills all of them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 9 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills of all them. Now they had 3 sons each and the 27 White Knights challenge the Black Knight to a duel but the Black Knight kills all of them.
Please stop the story, what do you mean, what is the moral?
The moral is: "Don't piss off the Black Knight"!!!!!!!!!

2021 - Happy new year

Running Update - This week was characterized by heavy rains but, between one storm and another, I succeeded in running every other day following my scheduled plan. All the workouts have been challenging because I chose hilly routes including some speed works during the last 3 km.  I need to improve my pace in view of the upcoming races. I hope to start the long distance runs on the next week end.

Tuesday: 10,7 km;

Thursday: 10,6 km;

Saturday (Christmas Day): 11,1 km. This was a night run through the suburbs to enjoy the Christmas lights. It was a unreal situation because the city was desert!

    I didn't know that you did the virtual Comrades 5k in April. So cool that they sent you a shirt and a medal.
    One day I would like to do the Comrades ultra. It's on my bucket list.

  8. So many happy memories from a tough year! I’m LOL at “barkrunner”. I did run with Bandit the first year or so we had him, but after that he was no longer interested.

    I turn 60 early in 2022. Somehow I thought there was more of a difference in our ages!

    Great job getting out between rainstorms.

  9. What a nice recap of your year! I was telling my son that you played rugby and your son and grandson play. His team is traveling to Italy this summer to play! I will let you know their plans and if they will be anywhere near you. Of course, it's all dependent on COVID...
