Mouth sores update. Thank you my blogger friends for the support. The cure worked very well and, at last, I feel good with no pain anymore on my tongue. All the doctors said that I don't have to worry for the problem I have had but I must increase my diet drinking a smoothy every day, taking a tablet of zinc for 30 days and drinking an immune active drink for 20 days at the beginnings of every season. They also said that I don't have to stress my (old) body.
Running again? Yesterday I tried to run few minutes on the beach. The test was positive (beyond me you can see my 3rd grandson Gabriele). My wife took a pic and complained about my posture: after the incident my right shoulder is no longer aligned with the other. She is right and very soon I will start another physiotherapy treatment. However by tomorrow I will run again, with moderation and without pushing, I think 3 times per week until next fall.
Critters. Yesterday and the day before yesterday, I made 2 long walks with a friend of mine and we met these "charming beauties", as you can listen my friend felt in love with them.
that's good about the mouth sores. running on the beach must be difficult!! cute video of the critters!!!
ReplyDeleteI never run on the beach (and barefoot). Only a test.
DeleteThe ducks are too beautiful.
The Body In Motion, Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers
The body in ... decay.
DeleteGreat to hear your good news. I like the duck videos, they sure like to talk. Take it slow and onward you go.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. Yes they are lovely chatters.
DeleteWhat a beautiful picture of both you and your grandson on the beach! Maybe I noticed the difference between your shoulders because you told me ... I knew and, consequently, I quickly saw that small difference. I'm glad to hear about your positive running test.
ReplyDeleteI already saw that duck video :-) as you sent it me before.
The ducks are waiting for your visit. They live in Largo Acquaroni.
DeleteGood news all around - that's so great! Enjoy those runs!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. Will do...
DeleteFantastic news that you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to read that you are able to run again. Running on the beach is tough!
ReplyDeleteBut I never run on the beach. That was only a test.
DeleteI love to run on beaches; I was just telling a friend that yesterday! Unfortunately I don't get the opportunity often (she's going to be near the ocean in the winter).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that there's no pain any more.
Good luck with your physical therapy.
Indeed I don't like to run on beaches but it's beautiful to walk by the sea.
DeleteHello, I am glad you are feeling better and out running again. I like walking on the beaches. Cute duck videos. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. Have a good w.e. you too.
DeleteI'm glad your mouth sores are gone! That has to be a relief. Glad to see you're able to run again. Too bad about the shoulder. I swear, it's always something!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, ... coming back to life. Thank you
DeleteJealous!!!! I wish I had a beach to run on!
ReplyDeleteI am sure you have plenty of places to run on.
DeleteGood news about your tongue. I take a zinc pill every day and a multivitamin and a cod liver oil, and I've been pretty healthy the last few years. Running on the beach is difficult and uses a lot of your core etc, so must be really good for you!
ReplyDeleteI think I have to follow your advice about pills and oil.
DeleteThank you.
